Thank you to everyone for electing me to the Roseville City Council. I look forward to serving all the residents of Roseville.
I especially want to thank the many of you that donated to my campaign, hosted a sign in your yard or took time to share your thoughts with me. Your support was crucial. Thank you to my friends and family for being so understanding during this long campaign.
Again, thank you everyone.
This is the mailing I sent out to all Roseville residents noting the endorsement from Roseville Fire Fighters Local 5051, my priorities and background. It also includes a photo the playground build at Roseville's newest park - Sunset Park. On the back is a great photo of my family whose support and encouragement never waned during this long campaign.
A very sincere thank you to all the Roseville residents who took time to share your thoughts on Roseville with me be it while door knocking, during my afternoon walks in our parks, at an event, in an email or while out getting groceries. I have enjoyed each one of them.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, is Election Day and I'm asking for your vote for Roseville City Council. To learn more about voting on Election Day, follow this link
"I am supporting Matt Bauer because he has shown himself to be a good listener, a quick learner and has put a tremendous amount of effort into being prepared on the issues as a candidate. These attributes will help him be a strong representative of residents on the City Council. He is focused on things important to Roseville from Parks to the Fire department to a resilient infrastructure for the future." - Three-term Roseville Council Member Jason Etten
Door knocking and talking with residents about Roseville is getting spooky lately. It's no time to stop though as early voting is underway.
Seasons may have changed but I'm still trying to meet with as many residents as possible. Had a wonderful time door knocking this weekend in the cooler, albeit windy, weather. Lots of good conversations about parks, public safety, budgets and strong neighborhoods.
I had the opportunity to participate in the Roseville Area League of Women Voters City Council candidate forum. The number and variety of questions were great. I believe candidates should be open with voters about where they stand on important city issues, the qualifications they have to be on City Council and their experience both professionally and in city government. The League of Women Voters did a wonderful job to highlight this. Click here to watch the forum.
I am very honored to be endorsed by the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 5051 which represents Roseville's Fire Fighters. It's humbling to be endorsed by those that risk so much, at anytime, no matter what to keep our great community safe and cared for.
Took the some of the family to Roseville VFW Post 7555 for their annual Booya. Enjoyed talking with Residents and members of the VFW regarding the proposed public works projects.
Spent part of Saturday helping install playground equipment in Roseville's newest park - Sunset. A goal of Roseville Parks and Rec is to have a park within walking distance of all residents.
Enjoyed supporting Local 5051 during their MDA Fill the Boot drive. Always enjoy spending time with our Fire Department and making sure they have what they need to keep Roseville safe and cared for. You can still make a donation to the MDA here.
Every year the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce produces the East Metro Voter Guide to provide voters with meaningful information on where candidates stand. This year there were ten impactful questions covering public safety, housing, budgeting, policy and more. Read Matt Bauer's answers here.
Yard signs are now available to show your support. To request a sign click here to get one. Yard signs will typically be placed in your yard in two to three days.
Had a wonderful time at the Rosefest parade with supporters and family. It was great meeting so many people and talking Roseville. A big thank you to all the staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make this happy.
